Most of the Malayalee families who migrated to UK from Kerala, Middle east and other part of the world is interested to live in North east of England. The main reason behind is the living cost ,job availability, less population and traffic.

Compared to all other regions in UK the living cost is low in North east .So that people could buy house in affordable price. There are many NHS hospitals around the North east and numerous nursing homes too.

Around 160 Malayalee families are around the Newcastle. Most of them are working as Doctors ,Nurses and Chef.

Onam 2007

Our association will be celebrating ONAM 2007 on 25th August Saturday 2007 from 10am to 5pm at the Fenham Hut ,6 Greenway, Fenham, NE4 9TU.

All those who interested to participate in verity entertainment like dance,skit, songs, cinematic Dance or any programme please contact ASAP Parents make sure that they prepare their children for programme in advance.

ONAM' the Malayalee cultural association::..


One of the most 'known' and 'live' Malayalee association is ONAM. Its started on September 2006 , by its active committee members and the variety programs held on different occasions like Onam ,Christmas,Summer outings its popular in all Malayalees heart in Newcastle.

We are delighted by Fr.Saji Thottathil, who is from Kerala to serve us since 2006, last Sunday of every month we are conducting a Malayalam Holy Mass.
